Craft fair display, mk II

Today has gone much more smoothly - although i've still wasted far too much time - but I'm getting there!  Yesterday I spoke to the face painter about our change of pitch, and she wasn't happy either. Of course, although she doesn't need as much of her table lined up along the front, she does need space for her queue.  So I've had a bit of a shift-around.  Instead of my corner-table arrangement, she can have one of the open sides of the gazebo, I'll have the other.  In place of the extra table, I've bought yet more flower pots (very, very big ones) and come up with an extra platform in front of my table - as in the picture below...

Sorry, it does look rather... flower-potty, at the moment.  That isn't two shelves in front of the table - I've just stacked them like that to build it up to the right height.  Each level will be covered with a cloth of some kind, so you won't see the flower pots.  The picture below is more in profile, so you can see the shelf-effect better...

They're lovely wide shelves, so bears of any size will fit, although these ones - the only bears I have at home at the moment - look a little lost on their own...

My mother has plans to sew covers for each of the levels, and we found some lovely blue stripey cotton to use as a tablecloth...

Tomorrow, I am working at the Art & Craft Centre, and the plan is to go in extra early, with table and MDF and flower pots, set it up in the Centre, and load it with bears.  Take a photo.  Then put all the bears back, disassemble the stall, and carry it back to the car - all before any customers arrive.

I am just worried whether I have enough to fill it.  I'm sure I do - my unit at the Art & Craft Centre is much larger - but I need a practice run, just to make sure!

Wow! You have been busy...you put me to shame with all this ultra planning

The ultra-planning is just to compensate for the lack of any sales talent on the day :-)
