oh good! Your short and sweet book is doing well too - still can't get his fudge to work though. I'm thinking of blaming the thermometer. Where did the malt loaf come from? Mum was impressed!
I haven't made malt loaf yet - it was a fruit loaf - and it was delicious! That was from the 'Warm Bread and Honey Cake' book too. There is a malt loaf recipe in the Delia Smith book, but I haven't been having much luck with her recipes so I might look around for another. Definitely on the list of things I'd like to make.
