Phew - it's been really stressful recently!
On 15th November, I'm going to be exhibiting at the North West Teddy Bear Fair, in Bolton. It's a long way away, but we went to a fair organised by the same people a few years ago, and it was lovely, so I thought it would be a good way to get back into doing shows again.
I was hoping to get lots of new stuff made before then, but on the 31st I was moving out of my unit at the Art & Craft Centre, and that seems to have taken up most of my time so far. The cerise pink stripes that we had painted on the walls had to be covered over, in readiness for the next tenant, and it took no less than five coats of paint(!)
And it was really sad to be leaving. I'm not leaving completely - I now have a glass cabinet in the annexe on the first floor (pictured below) but now I'm not actually a unit holder, as such, I feel like a bit of an outsider.
On top of that, I think I've got the flu, so I've been miserable.
Anyway, here are the bears in their new location. Before I forget, I christened the moose Mossy, and the little meerkat with the black face, Heather.
And, I booked my second bear fair! I will be exhibiting at the Essex Artist Bear Fair on Sunday 15th December! It is in Waltham Abbey, organised by Gyll Smith of Gyll's Bears. It will be good to have a fair closer to home - fingers crossed it all goes well.

Well I have to say, everyone looks very happy in their new home! :)
Thank you, yes - it's slightly more compact than what we're used to (everyone breathe in) but it actually suits us rather well!
